Check the trailer. The gameplay is a mix of Dragon Quest Swords with Wario Ware

 

You draw this paint brush blue line on the screen, wait for a few seconds and your character slashses.

 

Talk about some dissapointment... I thought this was going to be like Wii Sports Resort sworfighting, but like, in a real game.

So you made a thread that caused a big to do saying the "end of hope" talking about it being on rails only to now say the game looks terrible now.

How the hell the gameplay looks like Wario Ware beats the hell out of me, I'm pretty sure you're taking the demonstration more literally than it should be, it shows you how it cuts how you instruct it to despite older videos didn't show that >_> and you even posted one of those videos...

Well, if you want something positive about the trailers, they pretty much shows the there´s nothing "on rails" about this game. there´s even a small scene where the hero circulates a giant foe, something that´s impossible in a on-rails game.

But aside from that, talk about some bad news in this trailer!

First thing everybody thought about this game was "finally, a 1-on-1 hardcore swordfighting game. Halleluya. Took only 3 years, but here it is. With god blessed motion plus support"

 

Then comes this video. It shows that there´s no 1-on-1 swordplay. There´s just a "draw your slash" mechanic.

Check 0:28. You draw a bizarrely blue line with the wiimote pointer (please notice: there´s even a cursor shaped like a little sword), wait a few seconds and your character slashes that point of the screen.

And that´s it.

Back at that first 15seconds trailer, i took a print that showed the blue line. But we had no idea...

So yeah, with the latest trailer, the game looks worse than ever.

Motion plus is probably only used for aditional features, i dont know, like a stupid WASP like in that horrible Avatar game.

 

What a waste. Motion plus is probably the greatest thing on nintendo wii and it still lacks a real game.

I think that the blue line is for for demonstrate for non-gamers what they suppose to be doing in game , cuz the action is sow freaking fast , and you dont draw a thing ... and WARIO WAR ? WTF ?
