Oh wow I had forgotten about this thread because posted in it so long ago. But it is relevant now.
Well indeed, there is a lot of crow to be eaten this thread and eventually I might have to eat some. Currently here is the standings with 3 weeks left in the year (technically 2 weeks but 3 weeks left of data).
MW2 360- 7.23 million
NSMB Wii- 5.22 million
MW2 PS3- 4.88 million
Oh indeed there were a few who predicted it would be like that but a lot of people bought into the early sales data and didn't let Mario show it's power haha. Indeed NSMB Wii has become the biggest game this holiday season. My prediction was the order you see up there but man the way Mario is selling, I could be eating some crow as it has an outside shot of passing MW2 360. I think this just goes to show, never under estimate Mario even if it is dealing with one of the biggest launches in video game history. People were saying it would take a long time to surpass the other versions but man it is doing it in a few weeks. Guess Reggie wasn't all that crazy.
