Well, honestly, I'd rather have RE4 because it was the first RE-game I ever played. If they hadn't released it, but a new RE-game instead, I probably never would've gotten introduced to this amazing series.

I don't think we should argue, because it seems we're two sides of the same coin when it comes to ports. Some love them, some hate them, and it's already set in stone what we both think about them.

That said, however, I would love a new RE with the same engine on Wii as well, and it puzzles me why Capcom refuses to make one. Not that I mind the rail shooters, I've found them quite enjoyable, but they aren't even near RE4-level of awesomeness.

I get that impression, too. We park our cars in the same garage, we're just driving some different cars is all. Ports with re-imagined controls in and of themselves aren't bad, but it's been a bit of a trend with no payoff for Wii gamers. I think what makes me mad about RE4 is we didn't get a new one when it sold well, not so much the game itself.

I don't think we needed a port of Ninjabread Man, though. :P

Yeah, given how everyone loved RE4 and it got good sales, it just felt natural that Capcom would make a brand-new game which was a new entry in the RE-series and played like RE4, but then they just kind of never did, which have left a lot of people unhappy, myself included.

No... No, we probably didn't. XD
