I don't see how MW2 could've reached 1 million already, although it's possible if you count the steam sales. Truth of the matter is that MW2 declined in sales compared to COD4, which is extremely disappointing and a flop. Infinity Ward could've done so much better, but instead they idiotically spent money in making the terrible IW.NET.
They didn't develop the PC version to "make money", they developed it so that it could sell millions on PC. Call of Duty is still one of the biggest FPS franchises on PC.
