I think it will for the silmple fact that it's already about half way there. It also depends though on next year. Next year the Wii will have a very strong line-up of games, it's best yet. If the Wii is down YOY next year then I can safely say NO, it won't outsell the PS2. The Wii's biggest problem is not enough consistant great software, now if that is fixed and it still can't outsell it's last years sales then I don't possibly see what could lift sales and if it's sales aren't lifting then they are declining. The Wii seems to be the type of product that when it declines it declines at faster rate than normal. It reaches out to a crowd that doesn't neccesarily thrive off needing to play games but that's just my logic.
If most things go right for the Wii I believe it will outsell the PS2, not deservingly though IMO. The PS2 is just...king.
