Good first post and I agree with you completely.

Now I'm not saying Sony should stop making so many games in favor of fewer games that will sell more or anything. I love the wide variety of games from platformers (LBP, R&C) to shooters (KZ2, RFOM) to driving games (GT5, Motorstorm).
