If i were Nintendo there is no way I would feel the need to throw MG2 into that list. Save it for the second quarter, afterall it was Q2 where the Wii stumbled this year and a loaded Q2 is what drove Wii to astronomical sales last year.

The Wii stumbled on the 2nd quarter because the first one was empty, as there were no new releases. Actually Q2 had 2 new games, which was the biggest quarter of the year.

Perhaps you are right about last year but It's not all about Nintendo 1st party all the time.  That's a fairly decent first quarter line up if we do in fact get those 6 games i listed.  If MG2 was released in that first quarter it's going to hurt the 3rd parties who've finally made some decent games.

Out of interest what did we get q2 last year, I don't recall.

@Demotruk: no big sellers perhaps, but still quite a few decent core games.
