That's a well thought out opinion, and an interesting post. I apologize for pushing my opinion about Killzone 2 on you, it certainly is just an opinion. I did not like the game very much, because I tend to dislike things that get high praise based on quality presentation and technology, rather than gameplay innovation. However, that does run directly contrary to my love for Arkham Asylum which does just that, so I guess it really does come down to taste.

I was just a little upset at how AA was getting beaten up, when it obviously deserves recognition for its greatness, and such a small difference in quality seperates AA from the lesser exclusive Infamous, yet people act as if they are appauled it was mentioned. IMO, it's one of the best games this generation, and Killzone 2 isn't, nor is Infamous, and really, neither are most of the other games on that list. I would rank Batman AA and Uncharted 2 as my 2 favorite games this entire year, and my opinion certainly isn't any less learned or popular than most long term core gamers on this forum, or apparently the IGN team and reviewers in general, because AA is getting the respect it deserves from critics and gamers. It might actually win GotY on PC.

Also, I've gamefly'd Assassin's Creed II, but I'm afraid to rent it. I hate, hate, hated part I, but reviewers are saying many of the issues are fixed, so I'll rent it when there is time.
