The realization that it isn't an FFXIII port or a Final Fantasy game for that matter, is it. 
I've seen people arguing over the length, but if they played any other Crystal Chroncile game they would know very well how it fits in. Mostly it is people angry that it isn't the "super-customizable final fantasy uber rpg" that they wanted.
