^^ fair points, but a few areas to touch upon

- How many of the past gen fitness games incorporated a means of physically tracking your exercise routine? The last I can recal was the Power Pad on the NES.

- Sure, there are a handful that have broke through the 1 mil copies sold, but nonetheless, it doesn't change the fact that the motion controls in the Wii brought about a new advent in gaming

- Again, agreed, there are some games that are casual /family oriented, like guitar hero, singstar, etc. Hell even Madden has been enjoyed during halftime. Im not saying Nintendo invented casual gaming with the Wii, but they made gaming a more popular medium. When Wii's are found in retirement homes for bowling leagues, that's definitely a unique trend. When adults int their 40s and 50s are hosting Wii parties, its definitely a unique trend as well.

- Granted, Im talking about major devs, not independents here. Major companies brought interesting ideas to the table due to the low dev costs, giving them the chance to take a risk on something that is beyond xbl/psn/wiiware
