Next cut is 169.99 arcade and 249.99 for higher end model.

Look at the price cuts of the original xbox.

I'm expecting the Arcade to dissappear entirely and get replaced by a $199 Elite.  Then we'll get a $299 Natal Elite to compliment it.

That would be great for MS, increase value quite a lot with out suffering the loss of $.  I don't see that holding of the PS3.

Also that might mean the cut wont happen till natal comes out.

I think they'll try riding out the spring as is, though the Elite/Arcade phase out might happen pre-Natal (say August).  Then bring back the $299 SKU with Natal (and a bigger HDD or something) for November.

I think we'll see Sony counter with value-adding too.  And Nintendo for that matter.
