I just don't see Micorsoft coming this far to let the gen slip right through their fingers. You guys don't think Microsoft has any juice left in the engine to fight with?

Well I believe that this race is Fanboys fantasy.

MS could well end even a little behind Sony, they would still succeed in their objectves:

 

- Making more money than Sony (Hardware + services)

- Selling more games

- Consolidate the XBOX brand

 

Actialluy, their main purpose for this gen is to finish in front of Sony INCLUDING marketshare.

They aren't going to claim the opposite

And ending in front of Sony with a couple of millions consoles sold is not really an achievement...
