I predict the X360 has peaked either last or or this year and will not sell better from now on. This is it's 4th year out, it's quite surprising it sold as good as it did for this long.

I dought any price cuts from Microsoft will do anything, a little bump, back to normal it's already at $199 and they come out with a price cut every 6 months - year. I highly dought Natal will do anything, just reminds me of the Eyetoy on the PS2, it never really took off, and was only accepted by a specific group of people. Other then that all Microsoft has is Gears of war and Halo, but everyone that wants to play those games already owns a X360, so that'll just satisfy the people that already own the X360 instead of actually attracting new consumers.

Microsoft needs to invest all that money into new IPs.

So I say the PS3 will continue to outsell the X360 on a regular basis (excludng the odd week the X360 will outsell the PS3 from price cut/game etc) until this gen is over (both companies stop the PS3 and X360).

People seem to really not understand MS' strategy with NATAL.  MS has publically stated it will be console launch equivalent, which makes sense given that 360 will have been on the market  5 years when NATAL launches.  NATAL is to eyetoy as a fighter jet is to a skate board.

With this ^, I have to full disagree. Natal is just a really large gimick and an add-on. Yes it will be bundled but it is still an add-on. Nintendo is the only company to ever successfully sell and add-on (wii fit-which only sold well because 20-30 something moms want to lose weight but don't want to do a real workout and hope Wii Fit is the answer). No other company has been able to. I see Natal selling to the equivalent of SegaCD or Sega32x. Both of these were add-ons to the original console and were hyped up like crazy. Next think you know, the sales were utterly abysmal. A few people bought it and the rest waited for the Sega Saturn\PS1\N64.

The whole no controller needed for a racing game and some gimmicky paint game? The racing game without a controller is kinda cool, but not accurate. It would be perfect for Mario Kart, but that is a Wii game. I can only imagine a half dozen or so titles that have the success and complexity of an EA Games Wii game. Shallow, boring and full of gimmicks.

It seems like a very interesting concept and may be cool for the ability to start a movie or play a quick fun game with the family without having to pick up your controller. But I think most people will not want to buy an add-on to a console for this minimal real world functionality. Once again, I just don't see it selling well as a conosole add-in. If this is implemented in the next Xbox720 from launch I could see it heping sales because it will be an added feature.

Sorry if some of my post is redundant, I didn't get much sleep.
