I use my PS3 primarily to play PS2 games. My favorite Wii games is a Wii/PS2 multiplat. Until I moved I regularly hooked up my Atari to play. I really wouldn't care much about it if it were the case. Though the question would be... how would it effect console viability vs PC viability. Since PC specs would race past console specs even more then they do now. Would people migrate to PCs and their more advanced graphics, or would more and more games "stay behind" when it comes to graphics.
That and you'd wonder if an Atari situation would build up. Since it would get cheaper and cheaper to get games more and more people would get into it. People think the Wii has a lot of shovelware now... |
Could be the case. I just care as long as the games I want keep getting made, doesn't matter what platform.
As long as something like this doesn't stop my Final Fantasy's and other JRPGs I really could care less. Though honestly I have no clue on what a decision like can or will do in that case, though judging by what is still made for the PC I probably shouldn't worry too much.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
