I mean... lets look at this logically.

You've got a RE4 type view right?

So lets say this is not on rails.

The thumbstick controls how you move. The wiimote controls the sword 1 for 1.

How do you turn? Previous games have you point the IR corner at the edges of one of the screens... can't use that.

couldn't they use the nunchuck as the left analog and the directional pad on the wiimote as the right analog and do the norm for camera/character control?  Seems like that would be plausible.

You could use the directional pad, but I can't see using it just as you would an analog stick.

For wide turns I could see it.  It would control drastically different then most games though...

and would control like Killer 7.  (Which i had mentioned before.)

Suppose you have a point, I hadn't really thought about it but I should've just gotten out a Wiimote and seen if it felt like it could work well.

On a side note, it looks to me like the slashing is done using the IR pointer, but if that's true what do you think the WM+ is for?  It was my understanding that WM+ just gives more information on the position and orientation of the Wiimote but doesn't change the IR pointer functionality.

edit: just took out the Wii Mote and it seems like using the directional pad on the Wiimote for character movement and using the Wiimote in the right hand as the camera control could work.
