i think MS could cut the price any time right now, if they wanted, but i doubt they will do that.
MS might be a bit between a rock and a hard place here. if they do a pricecut now, they might have to raise the prices again when natal launches. but raising prices is always a bad thing in the eye of the consumer so they will try to avoid that scenario.
if they keep the price the same, they most likely will be able to do a stealth pricecut and offer the 360/natal bundle for the same price once it releases, but that will give sony a bit of an advantage as it looks now.
especially since sonys wand releases earlier then natal and hardly has a fraction of the dev costs. sony might well be able to do their own pricecut at the time natal releases.
