I agree with the physics 100%... it feels like Mario has definitely been putting on some weight lately, as he's not quite as quick on his feet as he was in Mario 3 and World, and his regular jumps aren't quite up to snuff as they were in previous games as well.

And the one thing that really bugged me about the game, especially in later stages where precision is key, is the hit detection... normally in the old-school Mario games, as long as you are above the enemy for the most part, you'll stomp his ass 99.9% of the time, but in NSMB Wii, there were many instances where if I landed just a bit off center on an enemy, especially with the para-troopas and bullet bills, it would register as a hit against Mario.

Oh... and the swimming sucks big hairy balls in this game too... it's like they went back to the really awkward swimming in Mario 1 and not the perfectly controlled swimming of 3 and World.
