It's the power of teh cell.... or something.
You are relatively new here though, so it is understandable you didn't have lofty expectations for the Wii like the rest of us, we have seen what it can sell in the holoday period, whereas you joined in April which was about the time the Wii "fell from grace" as it's sales slowed down (rather depressingly at that time)
