Thread; GT is the PS brand's Halo, the flagship franchise so to speak so the comparison is somewhat unreasonable (like Serious_frusting said) and I don't think anyone were/are dumb enough to think that FM3's sales would in any way compete with GT's.
selnor; the craziest predictions I've ever seen in here are almost all put forth by fans of a certain Nintendo console, there are some truly cringe worthy prophecies in here (I've made my share in the past but have learned a lot in my stay). 
Anyway, I'm interested in the sales of Forza 3 myself and not the comparison to other games seeing as this is probably my most anticipated 360 title so far this gen. Higher sales could mean more online support in the form of DLC with new cars, parts and tracks and that can't be a bad thing!
