So the video wasn't really funny, if I showed NSMBW to some guy in the early SNES era he might not be that suprised, since 3D wasn't even heard of in gaming at that time. Thats probubly the future he'd expect. But in the 80's sure some Mario player is going to not get exited, yah right if you approached me when I was a three year old playing my Atari 2600 or my NES. And showed me NSMBW I would go ape shit. Then the Pong era, right a guy playing with two lines and a dot isn't going to be awe inspired by NSMBW. The only funny part I found was the ending with Activision as the new Mario publisher. But even that is illogical as Nintendo said they would never sell any of their franchises even if they went under. Nintendo just wouldn't allow any Nintendo titles to be published on any platform other then a Nintendo platform. Miyamoto himself said the day Nintendo stops releasing hardware is the day that Mario dies. So no logic, I found it alittle funny but illogical sorta killed it for me! |
I don't think it was meant to be logical.
That said, though, I don't think it's funny regardless.
