because they are "hardcore gamers" and you'll notice that the only nominated Wii titles are in the "Best Wii Game" section, which they had to drag themselves to create, so they randomly picked screenshots and got lucky they new which game some of them belonged to.

EDIT: actually, I take that back, they had WSR in "individual sports"

That is only because the DS totally crushed the PSP beyond compare. If they could have they would have stuck HD games in that category too.

Oh, and to say that NSMBWii isn't the best 2D Mario is like saying Ocarina of Time isn't the best Zelda ever (and thinking A Link to the Past is better)

I'll give you that the Wii doesn't compete in a lot of categories and that doesn't bother me, but these GoTY are always so biased. I don't even know why I bothered to look this year.
