Im not sure it really can. MW2 appeals to a broader audience i think. I would argue that its a more "casual" FPS than halo and as a result halo will not break its sales record. Reach will be very high thats for sure especially if M$ markets this game like halo 3. But 5.5M is just too high of a number for halo reach.
