HD is fine but only an add on for good games. And let’s face the facts, The best games on this console generation are on Wii. Yes there are successful games on the PS360, like Modern Warfare 2. But MW2 is far from beeing a good game as far as "2012" is from beeing a good film. The single player part of MW2 is like a rail shooter (but not as good as Dead Space: Extraction) with a dull and boring storyline and last only 4-5 hours. The MP-Part is okay, but nothing special.
Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Fire Emblem, Super Paper Mario, de Blob, Little Kings Story, Dead Space: Extraction, World of Goo, Twilight Princess etc. are the good games of this generation. |

I am not even finished and as the list goes on your argument gets weaker and weaker. This is only off the top of my head. Guess which systems the hardcore will be going after? Seriously, this isn't that hard of a decision. These are all highly rated games.

Wow i just look at those games in that list and think how similar in gaemplay styles they all are with the exception of tekken and sf4 it's all a little samey

You're kind of blind if you think all these games have the same gameplay style. This is a mix of FPS, Action/Adventure, TPS, WRPG, JRPG, Action RPG's and more. I respect Nintendo and anyone here knows that, but they marketed the Wii to only one demographic and that is casuals. The hardcore have to take what they can get on that system. The majority of the hardcore titles are on the HD Twins.
