IGN are full of s*** don't trust them. They, like many others in the gaming media are puppets of the industry. IGN reviews(like many others) have never been about being a service to the consumer as it should be. As a very recent example of this check out the review of modern warfare 2 for PC...it was given the "standard" 9.5 (press average above the 9's) whereas the reader review average is under the 2's. The reason for this we all know so i won't waste mine and your time explaining it. Bottom line is, don't trust them, trust your own judgment and your fellow gamers.

No offense, but this is a bunch of crap. The reason why most MW2 PC reader reviews are in the 2's is the mass petition and bots aimed at reducing every single meta score on the internet right now. IGN reviewed the game without the intent of sabotaging IW's sales of the PC version. They liked the game. It's not surprising; a lot of people like the game. Just because you, in your two days worth of obvious time and diligence of playing the game, seemingly didn't like it, doesn't mean that its flat out terrible and that anyone whom disagrees with you has been bought out. The PC gaming community is butt hurt that a publisher is trying something new. It's sad to say but people like you are ruining the PC market. If you honestly think that staving off maybe 200-250k sales is going to hurt a company that plans on selling 10+ million copies of the game lifetime on console units, you are sadly mistaken. It's also probably hard for IW to distinguish whom was actually going to buy the game on the PC and whom was going to pirate it anyway.

And before you say I am biased against PC gamers, I am not. I enjoy my PC games just as much as anyone. I just recognize the difference between a straw man and a legitimate argument.
