Playing Uncharted 2 on crushing, I would have to disagree.
In Uncharted 1, even on crushing, enemies just hid behind cover, and occasionally popped out to fire a few bullets. Some of the more daring ones ran straight at you, only to be shot.
In Uncharted 2...they actually think about where they're going. Take Chapter 4 for example. If you take cover next to the grenades, the shotgunner isn't going to run up to you, he's going to come around the side of the building and take you by surprise, while a pistol guy goes around the other side, and the AK users are shooting at you from various positions of cover around the area.
THAT is good AI, not enemies hiding behind stone walls for hours at a time.
