If it's just a test game, it would have gotten Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop reviews instead of decent reviews. The test was their attempt to test the waters of developing "hardcore" games for the Wii (mission failed btw).

EA said it was a test game...actually it's a good game (looking at reviews) but it's a test game in its developers opinion.

EA said it was a test game, but does that mean that the time and effort in this game should be ignored.  As I said, they were testing the waters, not creating a tech demo. There is a difference. Also, Almost everyone I've heard of playing the game (reviewer or average joe) that has played the game seems to have enjoyed it despite it being "on rails." A person played the game and thoroughly enjoyed the game and made a post about it, yet people who haven't even played the game insist on trolling it, as though they have played it. That is my problem with a lot of posts I read about the game.

Get used to it. Sadly these forums are full of people who make up their mind about a game without ever playing it. I often get the first impressions of games up thanks to my importing, and I'm amazed to read that my opinion after having played it less important than somebody's built in bias. 

 

PS1 quality graphics. Give me a fucking break.
