@lordthenightknight, treyarch are the ones not infinity ward that made the mw engine work with the wii , waw was the proof of that. yes infinity ward made the engine, but they said it wouldnt work on the wii, they never tried. but treyarch made it work, infinity ward is just lazy i think, if they truly think they are as great as they have lead everyone to believe then they should put their money where thier mouths are and make a wii call of duty, if not then they should shut the hell up about wii developement.

some game developer guy just said something like " I think we've got the skills we need to make anything we want, anywhere we want, on any budget we want."

oh yeah it was Hideo Kojima

To think that game developers cant create something cinematic or exciting because the limitations of specific hardware is just ridiculous.

Constraints exist to push creative minds to find ways of expressing their message/game in an innovative and impressive way.

An artist can express his message with the lowest grade of tools to the highest. Not being able to do so is the limitation of the artist.

Two great posts that deserve to be repeated. Great job guys.

Actually from what I hear IW did work on the engine for Wii cause they were going to produce CoD4 MW on Wii the first go round but the engine wasn't ready in time, the engine was sent over to Treyarch to finish up and produce W@W on Wii, they did it but it was a little rushed which kept the engine from being optimized and they had to cut a few modes and maps sadly.  But with Reflex they've got the engine going, they've got a lot of assests from IW, and enough time to make it proper on Wii.
