The outsourced Starfox Adventures for the Gamecube was brilliant.

Not sure that counts since it was developed by Rare, who were owned by Nintendo at the time.

Personally, I didn't think Star Fox Adventures was anything to brag about anyway, it was okay I guess. But I did like Star Fox: Assault quite a bit.
