| Samus Aran said: I'm just talking about graphics here. Sure the wii is not a lot more powerful then the GC, but good games on the wii still look a lot better then on the gc. Compare zelda:tp with monster hunter 3. I think that's a great difference. But then again I've never really cared all that much about graphics. Design art is the most important thing graphics wise imo. And before you quote me, I do know that wii made the smallest graphical jump this gen. I'm not an idiot. |
I think you're misunderstanding me. I'm not trying to downplay the Wii's graphics. I'm saying it's far more capable than the GCN and that's why TP has "ugly graphics" compared to MH3. I'm agreeing with you.
@Cheebee:
Thx, I'd really like to see some more life in the overworld. It's always been rather barren outside a few towns. Another idea I thought of was after defeating the dungeon boss, you get a piece of an item. Once you have all the pieces, it becomes the weapon you need to defeat the final boss (along with the Master Sword obviously). Perhaps you can even use it along the way as an item, but it's true power isn't available until you have all the pieces. We've already collected Triforce shards, maidens, medalions, pearls, fused shadow pieces and mirror shards. Why not something that can actually be used by the player?
