It could just be that they didn't think it was swine flu, or they know they can't really do a lot for people who are still really healthy other than some medicine.
With blood pressure, they probably have a lot more tests they can do along with medication they can give if it is a chronic problem.
I would say take two patients with the same problem and throw them in a hospital to really determine if they are getting preferential treatment or just being thrown out.
