So Nintendo is a niche dev now? What have Trace Memory R, Takt of Magic, S&P2, Punch-Out, Captain Rainbow, Disaster DoC, Endless Ocean 2 all got in common? All sold really bad. Why? Because they were all stealth releases. Of course unless you know say that all of those were niche, which would mean than Bayonetta should have bombed this week, but it didn't even though it was really niche, because the game was hyped and advertised.

Just wake me up when Nintendo will actually advertise and generate interest in games that aren't either casual or part of their big franchises.

What Treasure game has ever sold well? Seriously name it. I love the bastards. I want to have like a million of their babies, and sell myself off to finance their latest and greatest projects. Commercial success has never been in the cards though. Sin and Punsihment 2 was always going to sell low numbers in Japan. Always. Trying to use it to prove your point is funny, but also kind sad.

Well, the first one did 130k in Japan and this is unlikely to do half that with these sales.
