Wii SW shipments DS SW shipments both topped NES SW shipments to the Americas. For Wii, its an impressive figure given that NES got to 34m in the Americas to reach its sw total. Wii is only at 26m in the Americas. The Wii SW market in the Americas is bigger in less than three years is bigger than the N64/GC worldwide markets over six years. Wii should have fairly significant third party support for quite some time as a result even if a successor debuts in say, 2011.
