And as the law of 'reviews' go, sequels are always reviewed more harshly then the original game that was obsessed over and given an elevated score. This is why even Mario Galaxy 2 will most likely get lower scores than the original Mario Galaxy, even if its better in all ways. Just because reviewers will be looking for ways to nit-pick its faults and expecting it to be a whole new game. And there's just always the simple fact that no Wii game is ever going to get anywhere near a 10 when the XBOX360 and PS3 are around. If anything, even while the Wii games get better, the scores will just continue to get worse to compensate. |
