SONY WILL NOT cut the PSP Go's price, during christmas it will likely sell some 1 million units world wide or more in December , that is EXCESSIVELY high profit for sony, if it costs them like $120 to make a psp, its over $100 million in profit. They need it, since hte ps3 slim is likely costing them money, the PSP GO will likely negate that, and then ofcourse we have software and PS2 hardware to contend with.

o RLY

wanna bet?

Getting to half of that figure will be a feat for the PSP GO

It's hard to say without knowing the breakdown of PSP-3000 to PSP Go sales. Last December PSP sold over 2.5 million units. Considering PSP sales are slower this year, something around 1.50m - 2.00m is more likely. Will over half of buyers choose the Go over the 3000? Considering the price, I wouldn't count on it. Still,  something around 750,000 would be a fine payday for Sony.

Only ioi can tell us the current breakdown, no-one else.

But in its first week PSP GO sold some 80K

in Australia it opened to less than 1K

basically, it isn't looking good for it

you may see 750K....but I see it doing 500K & no more

a Million is out of question imo, unless Japan loves it so much!
