Not to diminish the impressive results for Sony over the last two months but... See you knew that was coming. As somebody has already mentioned what matters most is money. Sony are currently gambling and on the face of it, looks to have won. What we do not know is what is the continued financial impact of the sales and the maintenance and upkeep of its network and does the improved software sales make up and exceed the difference. If the answer is no to the software then this could be an epic swan song.
I am not for the record suggesting this will happen just pointing out that things are not necessarily rosie in the Sony camp despite strong sales.
