Sturgeon once said that 90% of everything sucks, I think 90% of everything will fail; this is why there are so many sequels, once you find something that works, you keep at it. 3rd parties aren't putting their best, established franchises on the Wii, instead putting out new experimental stuff, giving those games a 90% chance of not connecting with the audience. The HD consoles get the main games from the established franchises, which have already connected with the audience, giving them a higher chance of succeeding.
