Ok. I think I figured this out. Why I was confused. The stereo does work when refering to the game features, like battles playing music out of L/R. The actual music however is not playing on separate stereo channels... I can understand why this is disappointing to some, but we own Wii's. I didn't buy my Wii because I am a technophile or audiophile (that is why I own a PS3).
It's not a big deal to me, but I feel bad for the ones that care.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
