I'm not going to go into the list like you wanted us to before, but I just think you should go back and play all those games, then make a 'list'.  I usually don't say this, but I don't see how you could make half those choices after playing the games.

believe me, I've played them,all of them, I play ever game I buy (through junk stores, garage sales, flea markets, etc I've accumulated over 600 different nes games so I've played some obscure titles) for some time and everyone of those game I have played extensively because I like them,  the list is based on my opinions, which are going to be different than everyone elses, that is why it is a starting point, frankly I wouldn't be surprised if half or more of the list is different in the end

please give me your opinion on the best nes games, tell me how to modify the list, make it truely representative

also as atma said, which dragon warrior is better 3 or 4?

anyway atma your right, I'll pm a couple of the guys that are big on the nes and hopefully get some valuable input, though I haven't seen simon belmont or commando post in forever
