My perception of the US comes from Archie comics, TV shows and a few friends who have lived there who say it's just like it looks in Archie comics and TV shows.
But I find it somewhat odd that in a real American (public) high school, there would be no drinking, no drugs, minimal smoking, and nobody wanting to go further in a relationship than kissing on a park bench. I'm sure the real America also has interracial relationships, and people's characters don't change every few days.
God, Archie is fucked up.
