Firstly, I am going to ignore horde, which is awesome, because it is really in competition with co-op, which I haven't played much of
Anyway, so they are similar. They both use cover systems, and I would say it takes roughly the same amount of ammo to kill anyone {actually a little more in Gears}, but you will be crawling once knocked down.... Uncharted 2 just adds something extra with its climbing mechanics which makes the game far more enjoyable and add an extra dimension to the game. The main reason that I dislike GeoW 2 MP is the fact that it mostly just devolves into a gnasher shotgun/chainsaw fight, which is just a pain. So yes, Uncharted 2 is far more enjoyable because it just offers more, and when GeoW 2 first came out, it suffered from major major lag issues (and the fact that I rule at Uncharted 2 does help a bit)
