Updated with Shaun White 2. According to IGN, using the W+ opens the new option of a trick editor. You take your dude off a jump and then use the Wiimote to move the board around in any way you like. It then saves that board movement and lets you try it again, this time adding grabs.
That's a pretty novel way of using the device to give the game a nice little extra. Although I think Malstrom may be pretty pissed. I still don't get his whole "User Generated Content" rant.
