It wasn't that easy. Just ok. WW wasn't that hard either and I don't really care as long as the puzzles are good and the world fun.
I have to say that the non playable characters like townsmen weren't as cool as WindWaker.

I thought the fire temple/Goron Mines to be bad as well, I really hated the Iron Boots/Magnet part.
Lake Hylia was also way easier than its OoT counterpart (that was tough).

The story and presentation were great though, I hope they keep that way of more movies to tell the story and also have a more developed storyline lke in TP.

All in all there were many highlights in TP that ar typically Zelda, and that make Zelda the best game series around.

*Spoilers* (well they're all over the thread)

Amazing parts:

- Fights on the bridges
- WiiMote control
- Wolf gameplay
- Cave of Ordeals
- Story
- Fishing

Bad:

- Long introduction
- Lack of minigames (shooting gallery like)
- Lack of interesting/funny NPC's

I have to say I agree with nearly everything you said here. I had absolutely no interest in any non playable character in TP, with the exception of Midna. Even Zelda didn't really seem worth saving. WW characters were heaps better. Also, am I the only one who wants Tingle back in Zelda? =)

And the Goron Mines has to be the worst temple ever in any Zelda game. The whole temple was so linear, you might as well have all the rooms in one long straight line. The puzzles were just crap, and the magnet stuff was boring. Ugh. but this is made up for by the lakebed temple which I thought was fantastic, much better than the water temple in OoT (my previous least favourite)

But the lack of sidequests really does hurt TP. The whole game is almost completely linear from start to finish, I crave the open world of Wind Waker or at least some extra sidequests like OOT.
