I got banned for 10 days for shamelessly bumping my "I Figured Out Why The Conduit sucks" thread. Totally worth it.
In my absence, I purchased The Orange Box. It's amazing and sexy and doesn't suck like The Conduit. As a matter of fact, Half-Life 2 looks better than The Conduit and it predates HVS' hearted effort by 5 years and it has the Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator, the greatest weapon in all of FPS history. Just saying.
I tried out Portal and it's great fun. Got stuck on puzzle 8 and didn't feel like figuring out how to complete it and move on. Not to mention I'm too damn lazy to look it up online. Whatever.
Team Fortress 2 is excellent. I never played the first game but I bet that was fun as well. The people that play online aren't total douchebags unlike certain other games. *COUGH* EVERYTHING ON XBOX 360 *COUGH* Playing as the Medic is kickass. You get to shoot your teammates with what I call the "Heal Gun" and it looks like the Proton Gun from Ghostbusters. Kickass.
If you want to add me on Steam, my name is "snesboy".
And now for something completely different. My new AV setup.

We shall start from the top shelf.
Top
Left Front Speaker, 32 inch Apex HDTV (720p), Right Front Speaker
Middle
DVD/CD player, Center Speaker (on top of the former), Digital Converter Box
Bottom
Xbox Original (hooked up through Component), Wii, GameCube (will be soon hooked up through S-Video)
Keep in mind that the surround sound is based from the DVD player. Surround sound is 5 speakers, plus a subwoofer output Dolby Pro Logic II. The subwoofer is right next to where the picture was taken and the back speakers are well, not in the picture. The GCN and Xbox 1 are hooked up through the surround sound. The Wii is not hooked up because I don't play it. Some of you may already know the reason, though I will say it again. It stopped reading discs because it fails at life. I will get it fixed eventually.
My GCN will be hooked up through S-Video because since I have a newer GameCube, it doesn't have a Digital Out
EDIT 1: The quality of my old TV can be checked out in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oDLOQh0i1w
EDIT 1-a: The Digital Converter Box is there for show. It's no longer hooked up. I don't even know why I did it to begin with.
