Likely not, the series just isn't for me.

I tried the first and didn't like it (hated the level design), bought the second for really cheap years ago and I still haven't opened it.

You hated the level design? You don't like large rooms followed by narrow corridors?

*thinks back to level design in Ghostbusters demo*

Er...

I didn't work on the library

And it wasn't so much the layout I hated, it was their puzzles and just moving about the space sucked for me.  I remember the point at which I quit the game was when I was supposed to swing on a rope across a pit near the beginning of the game.

Unfortunately I had a standard TV (24-ish inches) at the time and just could not see the rope so I got to that little pit, ran around and in it, couldn't get past it, so I started backtracking.  An hour or so later I still hadn't found my way until I finally looked at a FAQ to see that I missed a rope that just could not be seen on my TV unless you were looking for it so I quit the game.

That wasn't the only thing that bothered me, that was just the one that made me quit the game and never come back.

Good, because it was really quite awful.

I do remember the pit with the rope. And I had a 26 inch SDTV back then, so not much bigger. The rope was clearly visible.

Honestly, Twesterm, you shouldn't miss out on a great game after playing for 20 minutes because you're too blind to see a rope, and then not open its sequel.

Go put your pants on and finish it!
