Well, I know that, all other things being equal, I tend to choose the 360 version because I prefer Achievements to Trophies. Like with Arkham Asylum, if the PS3 didn't have the extra content, I'd have got it on the 360.

I don't understand when people say this. They are the same thing! The only difference is that one is a number and one is an icon. The actual "achievement", ie the thing you do to get that number/icon, is the same. That should really be the most important part, the feeling of knowing you have done it, rather than the visual feedback given.

Eh I disagree.  Numbers > Icons.

I have a score of 40,000 thousand.  You have a score of 20,000 I'm totally twice as better.

I've got a Square.  You have a triangle.  I have no clue how much better I am then you are.

I have 15 tropies, you have 8.

But they're all different kinds so I have to employ some sort of strange olympic grading scale to know how much better I am then you at something.

Not that i actually care about achivements.  But that's why points > Icons.

You can use trophy level for that. I am 7 and 43%, you are 6 and 12%. I am better.

Furthermore, say you have 5000 points.

And I have 5000 points.

Say a bronze is 10 points and a gold is 50

You could have 500 bronzes, and I could have 100 golds. You've just played more than me. You don't get the difficult trophies.

So the score is better for a quick comparison, but trophies are better at comparing actual "skill", if you can call it that.
