yea the ps3 hardware spiked much more than anticpiated.. and looks like it may have settles itself around 75-85k in americas, the wii is something I find interesting.. ofcourse the law of demand comes into place with every product, but its insanity how its gone back to selling these numbers with JUST a $50 cut.. had nintendo cut to $149, It would have sold out immediately im guessing.. Sony is still at a disadvantage in the market, they are still the highest priced console, and will continue to be at a disadvantage until they are $199 like the wii and 360, but even then the 360 and wii may be $99.
Do I see wii hardware holding this high in a long time? I dont know, wii has been and continues to be unpredictable, Im shocked the 360 is having issues in the americas after its $299 elite hiliday bundle released.. Im shocked ps3 hardware went up this week in the americas as well. PSP go on the other hand di what it had to do, so PSP should be around 45-60k this week in the americas. Others maybe up some 30k, that should be enough to match it with the 360 or potentially surpassing it.. world wide.
