except that they have failed at providing competition in their own form for years, and now copy the vertical model that apple has

sonys own form would be the sony connect, various forms of walkmen, and music phones. sony despite being a media giant has been unable as of yet to match apples success using a myraid of products, this is another attempt to copy the formula to beat apple out of its niche. I will say the current playstation store is the best incarnation of a media store sony has put forth
