You can still resell UMD's at any Gamestop or Buybacks, etc. The psp-3000 is still in production along with the psp-Go therefor UMD's still exist and will keep existing.

Actually some people are worried about DLC only games in the future. The concept exists and if the PSP Go does pickup it might become a reality.

I personally don't see myself buying another PSP unless the first one breaks, and I still wonder why people keep buying psp whenever a new version is out. Honestly I see most issues with the PSP go as legit issues, but it is up to the consumer to decide not me, but one things remain why are they the same price. DLC VS Retail.
