I'm not sure a 'next move' is important for them right now. I think they now have a good base to work from i.e. a somewhat affordable system and a good library, so now they need to continue bringing out the good games and giving more and more people a reason to buy.
I'm not yet convinced that the Wand is going to have much impact this generation but Sony just needs to focus on restoring people's confidence in the Playstation brand before the start of the next generation.
