BBC's news coverage is far better than Sky. They co-produce some great drama's with HBO like Rome. Then they had the classics such as Fawlty Towers and Monty Python. And don't forget That Mitchell and Webb Look. That is hilarious. And Blackadder is another BBC classic.
US TV can't come close, with a few exceptions (namely Family Guy, Futurama, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, 30 Rock and 24).
